The “Take Vacation Back” campaign differentiated Orbitz among competitors, who were focusing on low price messaging. The campaign garnered historic levels of positive earned media in PR and social media channels, as well as a Gold Ogilvy Award for Advertising Research Excellence.
Internal Brand Video
Created internal brand video for employees to bring the new Orbitz ‘colorful, loud & cheekily fun’ brand to life, while also educating on the brand strategy. This infused brand strategy throughout all communications for tight integration onsite and offsite, as well as helped to give clear direction for site design and product development.
Hovercraft
Captured a 30% YOY increase in branded recognition, and 45% YOY increase in advertising awareness by managing the creative development and media execution of the Orbitz Hovercraft campaign.
Orbitz Rewards
Developed brand, messaging and rollout of Orbitz’ loyalty program, Orbitz Rewards, growing awareness for the program by 33% and attracting 6MM members in the first two years.
